Domaine Laurent Combier: Perfection in the Côte du Rhône
We tasted the 2020 vintage of Laurent Combier's Cuvée L: We fell for the pleasure, and we had to share it with you.
A fan of peppery, larded, delicate, almost juicy Syrah? Throw yourself on the Cuvée L, it's a treat. Plus, it's organic.
It comes from a blend of young vines owned as well as grapes from different communes in the south of the appellation.
The aging of 8 to 10 months, 70% of which in ovoid concrete vats and 30% in barrels and half barrels over 8 years, gives it its incomparable taste, which does not pale in comparison to the great vintages of the same winemaker, which are the Clos des Grives & Cap Nord (presented below!)
